JORGE G. CHÁVEZ PÁEZ, M.D.
Interventional Cardiology

Dr. Jorge G. Chávez is a graduate of the University of Guadalajara School of Medicine.
His post-graduate training began at the University of Guadalajara Hospital where he completed his Internal Medicine residency, and then he was appointed to the University of Utah and VA Hospitals in Salt Lake City, U.S.A. where he worked and trained in the departaments of Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is 100 % bilingual.

Dr. Chávez completed his Cardiology fellowship at the prestigious Instituto Nacional de Cardiología in México City where he also completed formal training in Interventional Cardiology.

He is Board Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is also member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the Mexican Society of Cardiology (SM), The Interventional Cardiology Society of México (SOCIME) and the State of Jalisco Society of Cardiology (SJC). He is co-founder the Internal Medicine Society of Puerto Vallarta.

His outstanding work in Cardiac Intervention is well know among his patients, peers and co-workers, as he is the only Cardiologist in Puerto Vallarta with such qualifications. Dr. Chávez busy Cardiology practice includes echocardiography, stress testing and holter monitoring based in INTERMEDICA, a multi-specialty group of succesful bilingual physicians who thrive for the excellence in Medicine.
